Elective Courses Available to USF Students Taking Courses at UCF and Their Prerequisites
Computer Science and Computer Engineering Majors:
CS and CpE students at USF are allowed to take the following two courses if they have the prerequisites indicated for each course.
- UCF course: EEL 4932 – Massive Storage and I/O for Big Data Computing, Prerequisite: CDA 4205
- UCF course: CAP 4453 – Robot Vision, Prerequisite: COP 4530
It is advised that if the student has any questions on the course and the necessary background to be successful that they contact the course instructor. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they are fully prepared to take the course.
Information Technology Major:
IT students at USF are allowed to take the following course if they have the prerequisites indicated for this course.
- UCF course: CNT 4603 – System Administration and Maintenance, Prerequisite: COP 4610

Management Information Systems Major:
There are no courses available for USF MIS students to take at UCF.
