Elective Courses Available to USF Students Taking Courses at FIU and Their Prerequisites
Computer Science and Computer Engineering Majors:
CS and CpE students at USF are allowed to take the following two courses if they have the prerequisites indicated for each course.
- FIU course: EEL 4789 – Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures, Prerequisite: COP 4530
- FIU course: CEN 4083 – Introduction to Cloud Computing, Prerequisite: CDA 4205.
It is advised that if the student has any questions on the course and the necessary background to be successful that they contact the course instructor. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they are fully prepared to take the course.
Information Technology Major:
There are no courses available for USF IT students to take at FIU.
Management Information Systems Major:
MIS students at USF are allowed to take the following course.
- FIU course: ISM 4400 – Management Support Systems
