USF Registration Info – Spring 2018

Registration instructions for students from UCF or FIU taking courses at USF in Spring 2018

  1. Registration by UCF and FIU students for courses offered at USF in Spring 2018 begins on Friday, November 17, 2017. Spring classes at USF begin on Monday, January 8, 2018.
  1. Information about the courses offered by USF in Spring 2018 can be found on the TEAm webpage https://www.csit-team.org/offered-courses-spring-2018/
  1. Select the course that you would like to take and make sure that you have the prerequisites for this course.
  1. Reserve a seat in the course you are interested in taking via the appropriate Reserve Seat link provided in the TEAm webpage. Reserving a seat will allow the administrators/staff at USF to help you enroll in the course you selected and communicate with you by email to give specific instructions or get further information.
  1. Complete and submit the Transient Student Application through Florida Shines https://www.floridashines.org/. Fill and submit the transient student application form by visiting https://www.flvc.org/succeed-in-school/take-a-course-at-another-school

  1. You will be allowed to obtain a USF Network Identification (NetID) and Password to enroll in the course you have selected at USF.
  1. All transient and non-degree seeking students register starting Friday, November 17, 2017.  If you have reserved a seat via the TEAm website and demonstrated you have the prerequisites for the course, the USF staff will be able to help you enroll in the course and/or get you a permit to register in the course if you are unable to register or get error message that says, “Prerequisites not met.”
  1. Payment for the course must be made online to the USF Cashier’s Office by the Payment Deadline which is Friday, January 12, 2018. Payment must be made online by credit card (MasterCard, American Express or Discover) or eCheck.
  1. The Financial Aid Offices at UCF, USF, and FIU have agreed to allow the TEAm students to use their institutional grants and scholarship funding to assist them in participating with the shared online courses. Designated officials in each institution will verify the students enrolled in the shared online courses and communicate with the Financial Aid Office to ensure that the institutional aid of these students disburses.
